catching up

30March - thought we'd had a little breakthrough last night, because Alex woke up at midnight announcing he needed a wee, did a huge on his potty and went back to bed. But he hasn't repeated the episode yet.
31 March - I finally installed the new car seat we bought many weeks ago. Not done it until now, cos I've been rather worried that he would mess around, take his arms out from it, therefore being unsafe. This one does not have its own straps, he is just held by the car's strap, and he already took his arms out of the straps of the old seat at least once every journey. But he's been very good with it, and hasn't messed once. Leans sideways occasionally, but has basically been good with it.
1April - did not have new kitchen delivered. Kitchen fitter can't be with us till the end of the month, my fault for not ringing him earlier, so delayed kitchen delivery too. Needed more time to pack up kitchen and amass lots of boxes to do that anyway!

Today - Alex sent home from nursery on Monday, cos he was sick 3 times in 5 minutes. Didn't have breakfast or lunch. Hasn't been sick since, but has been very up and down in temperment since, going between happy and bouncy, and whingy and clingy. Today, on my usual day off, he decided that Mummy 'you go to work, Daddy stay with me today'.... If only darling.. if only it was that easy to choose.
