catch the pigeon

Found great new way to tire out small child, place in square with pigeons and tell him to catch one!
We decided to do something different today, as it's Easter Monday, so went to Cardiff Bay for a walk. Although we took the pushchair, he didn't want to go in it, so ran practically all the way from County Hall car park to the Bay, which is a fair distance. We looked for boats, jumped on things, walked along small walls, went to the Visitor centre, where he really wanted to play with the huge model they have of the bay and south Cardiff. Went to Harry Ramsdens for lunch, ate it outside, where the pigeons have learnt to eat anything that's dropped within 10seconds of it hitting the floor. Hence the pigeon-chasing session. Had an ice cream, and headed back towards the car, where Alex was asleep in about 2 minutes flat!
