Firestarters....

Well we finally had our new fence fitted last week... de dah!

And so now we have a load of old fence - oh what to do with it? We weren't going to traipse it back through the house (as was done with the new panels), so apart from chucking it over the wall, it had to be burnt. Terrible shame. Roly's longed to have a good fire for ages. Well it certainly was a good one. He started whilst I was putting Alex down for his sleep at lunchtime, so I came down to find 10ft flames, scorched plants, and melted flower pots (not too impressed was I....). So we doused it to keep it under control. We've probably got about a quarter of the original pile left still to do. Alex enjoyed watching it too!
