Philippa has changed quite a lot in recent weeks. She's doing very well in the sitting-up department, and can sit when supported behind her for over half a minute. She seems to like this new ability, and it means she can reach out and grab stuff! She has piled on the weight, now she's on solids, and when weighed today, had put on 1lb 6oz (in 2 wks), taking her up to 13lb 2ozs, which also takes her up to the 2nd centile on the growth chart = hoorah!
The solids have been interesting.. she likes banana, apple and pear, but all veg have have received wonderful 'yukky' faces and the veg spat out at me. Hey ho, will keep trying.
We had a week on a farm in Devon last week, over our 10th wedding anniversary. Good week, Alex especially enjoyed helping to feed ducks, hens, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and sheep. 2 lambs were born while we were there, and he helped to collect any eggs that had been laid too.
We visited Exmoor Zoo, the 'Big Sheep' and RHS Rosemoor (a lovely, but wet visit). The weather was pretty wet all week, but you can't really let that stop you, and anyway, we should be used to it living here in Wales!!
