Conversation in the car on the way back from nursery....
He just came out with 'when's the baby coming out?'
Me: Not till after your birthday
Alex: How will it come out?
Me (trying to avoid the issue again): by magic
Alex: can I see where it will come out, at our house?
Me: No!
Alex: Will it hurt you?
Me: Yes it will.
Alex: Why
Me: cos the baby's head is quite big.
Alex: where will come out from? Your mouth?
Me: no
Alex: Your tummy?
Me: No
Alex: Where then?
Me: my bottom!!
At which point he pulled a brilliant confused face, cos that is just too much to take in!! And I had to get out of the car to laugh! I'm sure there will be another conversation in the same vein before long.
