From dressing as Santa...to meeting Santa (and this one's got a real beard - we know, cos one of the other children tried to pull it off!).
Alex had the honour of dressing up as Santa at the nursery's final play (before it shuts in March), although he was none too impressed with the pink cheeks, and asked to go home to wash them off before the play even started! Still he managed to stay dressed before doing his bit and saying his words, and then he took off his boots and coat in front of everyone, cos he was too hot.
Today's visit to Santa was to Cwmbran Community Farm, for nursery's Christmas trip. It was great. From the goose that pecked his coat before he got to the door, to the tractor ride, and watching the cow be milked, and the large plastic dragon, and the baby ponies, and the emus, it was a good, busy day. And there was a Highland cow - happy me! I was even brave enough to feed a goat and a sheep from my hand.
