Why???

We’ve finally hit the ‘why’ phase of life with a small child. We knew it was coming, and it’s gradually crept up. It’s hard to keep thinking of imaginative, and simple reasons for Everything…

He went to his friend’s birthday party on Sunday, where they had a huge themed bouncy castle. We left out coats and shoes in that room whilst we went for food, to come back and find the castle had been deflated. So I told Alex all the air had come out, and the men were going to pack the castle away now. ‘Where’s the air gone?’ (Well, it’s in the air, you can’t see it or touch it, but it’s just there?...not really good enough)

We recently bought a new pair of Bob the Builder slippers, one with Bob head on and the other with Pilchard’s head on. He loves them. He even got out of bed, put them on and went back to bed with them on. Aaaahhh.

He’s beginning to know his left from his right hand / foot as well, so you can tell him which foot/hand the shoe should go on.

We also seem to have been spared Chicken Pox for a second time, even though we were in contact with Mum, who’s got shingles. He has had his 3 week incubation period now if he was going to get it, so fingers crossed!
