What we've found in our garden...

We made another interesting discovery the other day, whilst playing in the garden with Alex - a 'Pale Tussock moth caterpillar'....

Really rather hairy indeed!

And that was after Alex found this moth, several months ago, but I've forgotten what it was called! It's a hawk moth of some sort. It was sitting on the rosemary bush, minding its own business.

We also found a slow-worm in August, and there has been a recent sighting of a baby hedgehog in the front garden, which we're really pleased about, given that we live near a fairly busy road, and we have 2 cats, and next door has 3 cats and a dog! The one thing we don't get much of, is/are birds.
