Ok, I'm sorry, haven't posted for ages, mainly because it's been rather off-putting that this system takes so long to upload photos, so it seems pointless to post if you can't attach the photos as well.
So since I last posted, we've been on holiday to Ireland - which was a most relaxing holiday indeed. Total peace and quiet - only sheep and birds to hear. We were in a cottage by the sea (no beach though!) in Sligo, west Ireland. Very much hoping to make many return visits there, aided by Aer Arann, when they , fingers crossed, set up a direct flight Cardiff-Sligo. This will cut out about 11 hours of travelling (2hours to dock, 4hour ferry, and 5hour drive across Ireland).
Alex's language is coming on in leaps and bounds. we went on hols at the right time, as he was starting to really listen and copy what he hears, and have a good stab at most words. So he learnt' tractor' while we were away. He also learnt 'beer', but that was because he found little bottles of it in the fridge, and handed one to mummy, one to daddy, and then kept two for himself!
