how intelligent!

Sign of a bright child I think...
He came home from nursery to find a slug near the front door (last week), and knew it was a slug, cos he says 'ello ug'. But he went off and found an empty snail shell, and came and put it on the slug's back!!

He had a great time at the zoo last friday, although some of the animals weren't interesting enough for him (ie asleep, or he couldn't see them in their cages).

Went up to mum's over the weekend. On Sunday, we had a birthday tea for Helen, and Alex was first to the table. No-one else had come to the table, so he shouted 'body' (everybody) at the top of his voice to get them to come to the table! ['bodddddddyyyyyyyyyyy']

He also developed his first joke. Hiding under the dining room table: we say 'knock knock', and 'who's there', answer 'me!'.
