Extra plaster now on walls, just waiting for it to dry. Thankfully not watching it, although as it goes on pale pink, and goes dark pink and then light again, it is actually more interesting than watching paint dry! Painting of the ceiling can commence tomorrow.
Will be very glad to have the room back.... We've got friends coming with their 17 month old on Saturday. They're not staying here, but still, there needs to be a certain amount of order and babyproofing going on. And of course, Alex is one in a month's time, and for the party to happen, I would really like the room to be pretty much finished, ie shelves up and books back on them!
Discovered yesterday that neither of the metal baby gates we've been given will fit across the top of the stairs.
