Not interested in the fishes

We went to one of Cardiff's best parks this afternoon. It's got a conservatory, a lake (with rowing boats and pedaloes), a playground, and it's great. We went primarily so Alex could look at the fish in the pond inside the conservatory. They also have terrapins. But he wasn't interested in the fish, he just wanted to touch the plants, and rip bits off if he could. I'm pleased he likes plants, but he doesn't understand about being gentle yet. He's too little to go on the swings and stuff in the playground, but we had a lovely time watching the birds and swans on the lake. Couldn't miss the opportunity in all this sunshine!!
