Pear is nice though...

Success with pear. Pureed bigtime (didn't with the banana, just used a fork), so it was very runny, but no pulling faces this time. Have got some frozen in ice cube trays now, and prepared an apple this evening (Golden Delicious), and frozen that ready for the next taste experience. Also bought 2 Braeburns to try.

Also went to see Helen's baby (Helen covered my maternity leave, but was actually pregnant herself, and gave birth on Friday, nearly 4 weeks early). A gorgeous little boy. Very tiny, only 5lb 1oz, just about as long as my forearm. He was a little bit jaundiced, so has had phototherapy, but is ok now. The difference in size between Stan and Alex was amazing, and Alex wanted to touch the baby's face. Really annoyed that I forgot my camera, cos it would have been lovely to take a pic of them next to each other. I had a cuddle of him, and just wanted to hold him forever, he's so lovely, and very light! All gooey now!
