Amazing how little brains try and suss out their world..

Alex to Roland yesterday,

'Daddy, why is Naomi's (neighbour) house joined to ours?'

'Because it's called a semi-detached, that's half attached to ours.'

(pause)

'There's no house on the other side of ours'

'No, darling, that would mean we were in a terraced house'

It just makes you amazed at how his brain works, and makes sense of what he sees.
