first haircut

Lots of firsts yesterday.
Had MMR injection in the morning, and one for pneumoccocal infection. He didn't cry for the first one, and only cried a little bit for the 2nd. I get myself worked up that it's going to be terrible, and he will howl, and then he surprises me and doesn't cry! Then it was first haircut time, hence picture of hair collected.... He quite enjoyed this too, he liked watching himself in the mirror while it was done, although he didn't want the apron thing they put on you to stop the hair going everywhere.
Then it was a trip on a train down to Cardiff Bay, where we went on a boat trip around the bay. Thankfully it didn't rain hardly at all, so quite an enjoyable afternoon really! Alex liked walking up and down the boat (cruiser), saying hello to the other passengers.

He's got quite a good list of words he can say now: yeah, no, boo, peepo, mamma, daddy, shoe (sort of), all gone, uh-oh, moooo, door (we think), ball, more (sort of), hiya, bubble, kakaka (for quack quack), ta, ga (which generally means anything he wants, and is generally a demand for something).
