We've started putting Alex on his front, for no reason other than one book we read said that by 3 months old, babies should be able to rest on their forearms when on their front. In only 4 days, he's gone from not really lifting his head off the floor, to pushing outwards with his arms and looking round with his head. Wonderful to see such quick progression.
We went out tonight, Roly and I, for the first time together without Alex. We went to see Jools Holland perform in Cardiff, and Roly's parents babysat. The concert was excellent, despite people standing up and blocking the view, and Alex was pretty well behaved as well. Phew. Hopefully, by the next time we need babysitters, he will be going to bed much earlier, ie 7pm.
